Why followers aren't the target
A follower list is invisible and mostly passive. The people who comment on a competitor's post about a problem you also solve are visible, recent and telling you what they care about.
That makes them better leads than a follower list would be, and it's the only approach that works within what LinkedIn shows you.
How Distro watches competitors
You add competitors' company pages to a watchlist. On the schedule you choose, Distro reads their recent posts and ranks them by how relevant they are to your keywords, your ideal customer and your GTM plan.
- Up to 10 watchlists with 25 company pages each
- Daily, every 3 days, weekly or manual checks
- Posts ranked high, medium or low relevance for you to review
- Live checks are capped each day to stay at a human pace
From a competitor's post to your lead list
When a post is worth it, you approve it for monitoring. Distro then captures the people commenting, replying and reacting, scores each one, and lets you save the ones who fit.
From there it's normal Distro outreach: a connection note based on the conversation, follow-ups that stop on reply, and the same contact by email if you have it.
